Education sits at the heart of a thriving society. It illuminates the path for our youth, the leaders and innovators of tomorrow, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to facilitate them through an ever-changing world. My own journey underscores this truth. Twice facing life-threatening illnesses, I found solace and strength in the pursuit of lifelong learning, through which I can educate students and academicians across the globe. This highlighted the importance of education and acting upon beliefs, leading me to achieve two academic doctorates and six honorary degrees. I have learnt that education shouldn’t be a privilege for the few. Every child, regardless of background, deserves access to quality education. It empowers them to break free from poverty’s grip, fostering critical thinking and shaping them into responsible citizens.

The world around us is in perpetual motion. Technological advancements reshape industries, and environmental concerns demand solutions. Education equips us with the adaptability necessary to thrive in this dynamic landscape. It hones critical thinking skills, fosters innovation to address societal challenges, and builds a more just and equitable future.

Investing in universal education for every child isn’t just about nurturing individual potential; it’s about propelling humanity forward.
