Swapnila Goswami, who used to be passionate about creating content related to FASHION since her college days had to go through ups and downs to make a place in this field. Mostly known by her instagram handle fashionistaspeaks , she has been creating content on FASHION and LIFESTYLE since January, 2018.
Being born and brought up in a small city named Jorhat in Assam, India, it took her years to gain confidence and implement her desire.At the time she was pursuing her Bachelor of Science in J.B College, Jorhat it was not a common thing for a girl belonging to a small city to take up content creation as a profession. After completion of her formal education, she started teaching computer programming in an institute being graduated with computer science as a subject.
Few years passed, she continued with her job but her desire to become a content created never fade. It used to be a part of her daily routine to go through the content of few content creators whose content she used to admire a lot ( she still admires ). From their content, she learnt many things which helped her a lot when she started working on her content. In January, 2018, finally she decided to develop the required confidence and start her own blog https://fashionistaspeaks.winkl.co/. Accordingly, she started her instagram handle fashionistaspeakstoo. At the beginning, her content was primarily based on FASHION and that’s how she continued for 1st year. Her 1st collaboration was with the jewellery brand “VOYLLA” and in last 3 years she has collaborated with more than 50 brands. She has been creating content since last 3 years. Though her content used to beprimarily based on FASHION, slowly brands started approaching her for lifestyle products for which she started working on LIFESTYLE content too. Now, content related to LIFESTYLE has taken over her instagram and blog. When it comes to her FASHION content, she believes in sharing outfit ideas which every woman can carry comfortably. The outfit ideas shared by her are mostly based on her personal style and also carry a touch of simplicity. She believes both fashion and comfort are co-related.
She had to work hard a lot to be where she is today. She believes that to achieve something, hard work and determination are two key factors. She says that she will keep creating content so that her content can inspire and influence others.
She is an example when it comes to the saying, “ Hard work pays off “. From the very beginning, she is working hard both day and night. Though it took her few years to gather confidence to implement her desire, she never looked back once she start working on it. She says that its really her pleasure when girls/women approach her today and say that they got inspired by her content.
