A journey of practical learning and empirical thinking led the director of Supple Agro to reach this position today. It all started years ago by a dream with open eyes observing farmers working day and night.

 

There was a constant notion in a young mind, thinking about an idea to overcome the challenges in agriculture. But little did he knew, he will ultimately land up becoming an “Agripreneur”, introducing advance options, connecting agriculture to this fast-moving digital world and walking at the same pace with this revolutionary world.

 

Since 2012, Mr. Sagar has been partially involved with the 40 years old family business of Apple export. After completing his graduation from Hansraj College, University of Delhi he started dedicating all his time to the business.

 

Starting the day at 5 a.m. purchasing Apples from Delhi Azadpur Mandi. His devotion towards his work could be seen by his presence in all those raining and heavy fog days. He learned about Business Techniques, Partnership, Accounting, Dedication, hard work and adapted ideas from the experiences of his family.

 

Finally, Mr. Sagar made his mind to move solely towards his own farming. He planned to use unconventional ways of farming and introducing new approaches to growing fruits and vegetables. To get more insights on his ideas he moved ahead with some academic training from “The Institute of Horticulture Technology” and “The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI)” under the guidance of Mr. Bhaskar Rao, Partner Supple Agro.

 

Since the foundation was now made with experiences and learning. Mr. Sagar understood “this is the right time to launch his venture”. He started his farming career in the year 2015 on a small land at Sonipat, Haryana by using hydroponic techniques. The initial years were challenging, full of rolling and turning down. But when you are determined to achieve goal, you become unstoppable!

 

And with the persistent practice today, Supple Agro own farms in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh growing various exotic, super exotic vegetables and fruits using unconventional and sustainable ways of farming. Changing the lives of farmers and introducing a new business culture to agriculture practices.

 

Supple Agro is today standing in a stable position with hotels like Radisson, Taj Mansingh, Lord of the drinks and many more prestigious hotels and lounges. We have close business relations with more than 300 outlets like Spencers, Big Bazaar Gen Next, etc.

 

During the COVID-19, we leveled up by entering into Digital Innovation with a standardized ecommerce platform, optimized last-mile delivery to boost logistics & supply chain making. Also, providing a more secure and sanitized way to give satisfactory and contactless delivery to various customers.

 

Agriculture and technology are indispensable now and Supple Agro is ready for it. We have already leveraged cloud-based chat and messaging solutions to connect customers via mobile application or website providing a quality customer experience.

 

We aim a more resilient future by increasing the use of AI, IoT devices, and machine learning to provide enhanced CX, increase operational efficiency, and other technology-enabled productivity improvements to tap domestic and international markets.
