Author Nehal VRK is a well-known personality of Chhattisgarh and has gained a reputation as a writer of many genres. She has made her mark in multiple arenas like writing, philanthropy, social activism and myriad activities related to this field. Her unwavering belief in the need to change the system and bring education and socio-economic changes to her state is unparalleled. Her charisma has made many projects possible through the NGO Udaan that she founded in 2003. Later on she added more women members to Udaan to cover more students and children under her wing.
Nehal, a writer by profession and the youngest of the three siblings has similar views on the subject of embracing parental love and support. She admits that without her parents and sisters’ love, support and care, she would not have achieved anything in her life. Every bit of wisdom and talent seeped in her mind is due to her father and mother. Their constant guidance and encouragement have enlightened her path and made her a true leader.
She reiterates that her parents were never gender-biased and in fact they treated all her sisters more than a son. They inspired her by saying that the sky’s the limit and encouraged her to soar high. Her parents played a huge role in her success. They stood as the strongest pillar in life, and showed her how she should utilize her skills to her advantage and shape her career.
She further added that her father is a beacon of kindness and is an excellent human being. She follows her father’s footsteps in every step of life. Besides writing, she is a philanthropist who always seeks to promote the welfare of others.
She follows the well-known proverb ‘charity begins at home’ by bearing the educational expense of children of her driver and maid. She has written two books and is currently working on four more which includes non-fiction, health and parenting. She also writes for various publications, magazines and works as an editor for a summary app.
She works for mental illnesses and social causes, creates video courses and writes blogs and books on these niches. As she firmly thinks that these are the two spheres that need more enlightenment among people.
