Well! Wedding is close and the bride is loaded with expectations to look best on the Big Day. You have to look good in terms of slim, glowing and fresh as ever. To couple this trio together it is important that you eat healthy and start a workout regime. Make sure that this entire regime is first of all realistic and will fit into your shopping and preparation schedule. Never set an unrealistic program. And then be sure you do not end up with a regime that compromises that glow. Here’s how to manage your fitness and beauty at the same time.
Eat healthy for all the right reasons. You have a reason to be highly motivated during this event. So junk goes out of our window. Stock up on all the seasonal fruits around you. Fresh fruits especially citrus ones like oranges and berries of all kinds will give you a rosy look and help you cut on the fat near your abdomen. Equally important is to increase fiber in the form of fresh salads with fresh veggies; these will boost your metabolism, and give you a fresh look on the D day. Never try to extreme diet or starve yourself in a frenzy to lose weight. You have to eat in small portions and eat healthy. Breakfast should be the heaviest meal of your day and try to eat as light as possible during dinner.
When you move about shopping, try to stay away from fried and oily snacks at shopping carts located in markets. Try to find a juice corner for some fresh vegetable juice or carry Tiffin consisting of strawberries or chopped papaya. This will be a healthier snack. Just in case you were not able to carry your fruit, try to locate a healthy snack, you would rather go for a spinach corn sandwich at Café Coffee Day rather than having cholla bathura. Go slow on chocolates too. Too much chocolate may swell you up and none the less may give you a pimple on the face. A square or two in the entire day is more than sufficient to give you instant energy. Second word of wisdom is to stay away from cold drinks on the run. Carry your water bottle. Water is the essence of life and a hydrated skin is the best way to look good for your wedding. So make sure to drink at least 3 liters on an average each day to keep your bowels clean and feel fresh first thing in the day. Have it in the form of plain water, fresh juices, soups made at home and even coconut water to look radiating.
Apart from the cold drinks, watch the amount and the kind of alcohol intake you have. 30 to 60 ml of red wine in a week will not harm you. You may have a restricted quantity of any kind but large pegs of whisky, beer or any other kind of alcohol is not a good idea just before your wedding. This is a very important tip for the bridegrooms who end up drinking tons of alcohol at bachelor parties. Watch what you drink and how much you drink. You need to stay fresh and hydrated.
Now if we look at your diet, having low fat dairy products and low fat poultry such as chicken and fish will give you optimum nutrition and choice for your main meals. Stay away from red meats, gravy meats like butter chicken, and do not have fried chicken. Having cottage cheese and skimmed milk is a good idea and will keep you full during the day. Most importantly small grandma remedies like kesar milk will give you a pretty bridal radiance on your face. Do not have too much coffee or tea though, having green tea is good idea for sure and is definitely on the go fitness list. There are many flavors of green tea like rose tea and jasmine tea which have health and beauty benefits each. Go slow on heavy carbohydrates such as rice helpings, ghee laden pulses, and even too much bread. Having a good helping of proteins will definitely make your waist fit into your selected designer outfit.
Now we come to our planned workout regime. First you should decide whether you are motivated enough to monitor yourself or you need help. In case you are a workout kind of a person, then you can choose the plan best suited to you. While some are comfortable with yoga, some find pleasure walking at the sports complex. Some may like aerobics while they would be grooms like to hit the gym. It is entirely your choice, but make sure either you do it regularly on your own or you get a trainer hired to get it done. The second key point is to be regular. You have to do it regularly. Doing it once a week is no good. You need to workout at least every alternate day in the week. The regime can be planned at at least 20 minutes a day for the brides and at least 40 minutes of the day for the bridegrooms. This will keep you charged and bring you in shape. Aim at overall shape and do not worry about target areas as they will fall in shape automatically. You need to look shapely and workout adds to the glow on your face too.
Apart from workout and healthy eating, the fitness of the would be couple requires one more important key. You need to be relaxed. Most of the times the girls end up getting stressed from the never ending shopping spree and the anxiety related to what after marriage issues.
